Although the blog gets a huge response in terms of unique and frequent users each month, comments are few and far between so when I had one to approve I was rather eager to read it. LOL Was not expecting that though... haha

Re: The Time Is Now! Or hope I get offered a sample to review as well!

PS Don't let haterz bother you. Love your reply though.

Re: The Time Is Now! With Laughing Cow (Light with Blue Cheese, Please)

Dear Alex,

I am sorry to hear you won’t be reading anymore of my reviews or recipes. How you can call this tragic I don't know? If you read it you will see how I have incorporated some fine ingredients, ideas and even a rare breed self-butchered artisan burger into the review.

As a food blogger we are regularly asked to review items from PR companies and these can range from anything to high class exclusive events and products to much cheaper everyday products that have a large consumer base.

The Laughing Cow, as you can see again from the article, was a childhood snack of mine that I have many fond memories of and so I choose to give this product an open review and I was delighted with doing so.

Comparing this to an April fool’s joke and potential McDonalds burger review (I have several on homemade sliders, Lucky Chip, Meat Liquor and more) is a rather astonishing comparison.

Maybe you are mistaking what it is I am reviewing and how I am doing so. I can only assume you are some all mighty food guru or acclaimed chef who has his own stubborn views and holier than thou morals to be so bold as to look down their nose at my review and decided that because it is not some foie gras or caviar take on something it is beneath you as one of my readers.

I guess for you to take the time to actually leave me a post is something so I thank you so much for your precious time and effort is such creative and productive feedback. I will make sure to email as soon as my McDonalds review is comes out on April the 1st.

Re: The Time Is Now! With Laughing Cow (Light with Blue Cheese, Please)

This is tragic.

April the 1st is in about six months time. In order to save myself the McDonald's cheeseburger review next week, you can safely consider yourself to have one less reader.

Alex

Re: Contact Me

Hi Barry,
I don't actually have a full pack of Byron cards, just those from the Byron's I have visited.

I do however have a 5 & 6 of clubs and they match Central St Giles and Rathbone Place respectively.

Cheers
Will

Re: Contact Me

Hi, I see you have the full set of Byron Burgers playing cards - are you able to tell me which restaurant uses the five and six of clubs?

Regards

Barry

Re: Blog Eat Blog - The Final Heat (4) This IS JAM HOT

Thanks Rachel :) I melted the Nduja with some butter before adding flour for a roux - then added milk to make a white (orange!) sauce. Heres to more wonderous burger adventures in 2012, especially hoping chilli crab makes a return as I missed that one!

Re: Homemade Pizza (Dough & Marinara Sauce)

Ohhh I must try that!
